Eloquent performance as BK scoops another award

{Bank of Kigali (BK) has scooped the Banker Africa Award 2016, in East Africa, organized by CPI Financial which owns news medium Banker Africa Magazine that writes on leading banks over the African continent.}

The award was given during a ceremony held late May 2016 in Nairobi, Kenya.
BK received the award after getting 23,500 votes of financial agents from East African Region.

The Director of CPI Financial, Robin Amlôt said that this year they have focused on such awards as the banking sector evolves into vibrancy.

“Every year we select and give awards to excellent financial service providers. We want to promote good performance while recognizing important players in determining the future of the region’s economy,” he said.

The Chief Executive Officer of BK, Dr Diane Karusisi expressed gratitude for the award and unveiled a plan to do everything possible to keep on top and intensify the use of technology in service delivery.

“We will continue to invest in infrastructures and in our staff skills so they understand the value of clients and shareholders even better. We shall continue putting ICT in the employ to ease the way we run business and use it to improve service delivery,” she said.

BK has for the past years been receiving awards for excellent performance.

Euromoney listed BK as the best performing bank in Rwanda in 2015 ,received the African Banker Award in 2015 and was named the best bank in Rwanda from 2009 to 2014.
