Be professional—Murekezi to health workers

{The Prime Minister, Anastase Murekezi has requested health care services providers to desist from all forms of unprofessional behavior cited among some of them and strive for good service delivery to patients. }

The PM made the call yesterday as he officially closed a civic education session dubbed ’Impeshakurama’ organized for health care services providers in Rwanda in Gabiro of Gatsibo district, Eastern Province.

The civic education was attended by 188 women and 574 men from the Ministry of Health and its agencies, district hospitals and health centers staff from 27th November 2016.

Premier Murekezi said that health sector plays a great role in people’s development when it provides good health care that ascertains good health.

He asked them to fulfill their duties with much commitment.

“Work hard and professionally; strive to improve your performance. Keep away from misconduct and promote the spirit of togetherness at work targeting to achieve performance contracts. Prepare what you do and seek to always improve knowledge,” said Murekezi.

He tasked them to begin with promoting hygiene and combating malnutrition and collaborate with local administration to transform performance and livelihoods of Rwandans.

Dr Patrick Ndimubanzi, the state minister for public and primary healthcare said participants promised to commit more efforts in treating diseases and curtail their spread among the populace.
