{The Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki Moon will be in Rwanda today to attend the 27th AU summit and hold talks with various African leaders attending the Summit taking place in Kigali including Intergovernmental Authority for Development (IGAD).}
UN spokesperson, Dujarric, announced that Ban-Ki-Moon was expected to start a visit to three African countries including Rwanda, Kenya and South Africa.
Dujarric told the media yesterday that Ban Ki Moon will meet leaders attending African Union summit before he continues his trip to Kenya in the 14th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development on Sunday.
After visiting Kenya, Ban Ki Moon will head for South Africa to launch the 21st International Summit on Combating AIDS on Monday 18th July, 2016.
Ban Ki Moon will return to his office in New York on July 19th, 2016.
Ban Ki Moon last visited Rwanda in 2014 as he joined Rwandans in the 20th commemoration of 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.
