Ambassador William Nkurunziza yesterday presented credentials as Rwanda’s ambassador to Turkey to the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
He replaces Lt. Gen Ceaser Kayizari who has been representing Rwanda in Turkey.
Ambassador Nkurunziza was appointed to represent Rwanda in Turkey by the December, 2015 cabinet meeting presided over by President Paul Kagame.
The cooperation between Rwanda and Turkey has translated into investment from Turkey have reached USD 35 million most of which are from Turkish Airlines travels in Rwanda.
The cooperation is also rooted from education and other development projects in which Turkey supports Rwanda.
