Amavubi Coach Expelled

Milutin Sredojovic Micho the Coach for Rwanda’s national football team, Amavubi has been sacked and his contract suspended.

A statement released April 16 by Rwanda Football Federation FERWAFA said that Micho’s contract had been suspended owing to poor results while at the helm of Amavubi as coach.

The sacking follows a meeting between officials of Ministry of Culture and Sports and FERWAFA.

However, Ugandan Press had reported that Micho had applied to coach the Uganda national team (Cranes).

The Cranes Coach Job has been vacant after Ugandan football federation (FUFA) sacked their Scottish coach Bobby Williamson a fortnight ago.

Micho a Serbian national had reportedly sought medical leave to Istanbul, Turkey.

However, sources say Micho had headed to negotiate a deal with Uganda to train the Cranes.
