U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. said that if convicted he faces a prison term of up to 15 years, a fine of up to $250,000 and automatic revocation of his U.S. citizenship.

In his naturalization petition Kalimu claimed he had never been known by any other name and repeated that allegedly false claim in a letter to Homeland Security officials last year.
Neither Kalimu nor his attorneys could be reached to comment Thursday night. Bruce said “Kalimu/Twizere” is scheduled to be arraigned before U.S. Magistrate Judge H. Kenneth Schroeder Jr. on the two-count indictment.
