Over 20 cell executive secretaries have resigned.
The local leaders resigned along with four agronomists from four sectors of Bugesera district leaving citizens worried as this may stall civil status registration activities in the course of this week.
“We are in the civil registration status week. If only they would have resigned after completing our registration, “said a resident of Julu sector.
“Services delivery will get dented. We have heard that five cell executive secretaries from our sector have resigned along with officials in charge of social welfare. This adds to having our sector executive secretary shifted to another position,” said another resident.
The mayor of Bugesera district, Nsanzumuhire Emmanuel has told IGIHE that citizens should not worry of the changes.
“There is no cause for alarm.Citizens don’t need to worry as they will keep receiving services as usual for there are other employees working to fill the gap,” he said.
