{{Airtel Rwanda has rolled out an SMS football trivia promotion for its customers dubbed Igitego.}}
The promotion set to last 90 days will see a total of 109 winners including a lucky winner of a brand new Toyota Carina E at the end of the promotion.
Speaking during the launch at the Airtel offices in Remera, Teddy Bhullar, Airtel Rwanda Managing Director said, “We at Airtel always look for ways to reward our customers through exciting promotions such as Igitego.
Our aim is to ensure that our customers enjoy using the Airtel network and it is through campaigns such as this that we make it possible.”
To enter into the promotion, customers will simply send the number 1 or the word GO to a short code155 and they will receive a welcome message that will earn them points into the promotion.
They will then stand a chance to win prizes in daily, weekly and monthly draws. The more messages a customer sends to 155, the higher their chances of winning.
Bhullar added that although this product is aimed at rewarding customers, it is also meant to enrich the lives of the customers who will participate and win.
