Eng. Edward Bagumira, a senior official in the Ministry of Infrastructure, explained, Upgrading and Improving Kigali International Airport terminal building and other facilities is in progress.
Structural analysis and design drawings, site installation and foundation excavation have been completed-a statement from MININFRA says.
According to MININFRA, water supply system at the airport has been completed 100%.

The upgrading and improving of infrastructure at the airport is being conducted by a Switzland based International construction Company (ROKO) and supervised by SNC-LAVALIN under Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority.
These activities are proposed to be completed by December 2013.
