While addressing an international conference on liberation struggles held in Kigali Capital, Foreign Affairs Minister Louise Mushikiwabo has called upon Africans to raise their voice and define themselves.
“African should be optimistic and speak without fear of rejection” Said Mushikiwabo.
She added that there have been some attempts to deny Africans a chance to self define.
“What we all can see through the experience of Africa in last 50 years is that there have been a number of attempts to not allow Africans to self define, it is sometimes obvious, it is sometimes not so obvious” Mushikiwabo said.
She added that Africans should not expect anybody else to fight the struggle of defining them.
