African Women Tell Their Success Stories

More women are defying the odds and currently taking up risks and tasks that have for so long been dominated by men.

Below we bring you interesting women talking about their journeys through which they have endured to attain the level of success they have today.

Ritha Ubumwe one of the Ni Nyampinga brand representatives interviewed two successful African women in their own right.

These two women were on panel discussions during the Pan African Youth Conference that took place in Kigali on July 2nd-3rd, 2014.

Ritha also interviewed Olfa Riahi, a Tunisian Blogger and Independent journalist, known for exposing the biggest corruption scandal in the post revolution Tunisian Government known as the “Sheratongate”.

She talks about how women played a major role in Tunisian revolution and what motivates her to continue to fight for justice and equality through her writing.

Ritha also interviewed Senegalese entrepreneur, Magatte Wade, Founder and CEO of Tiossan, who started her own business to change the way Senegalese looked at the traditional Hibiscus juice that was eventually bought by Coca-cola and now started a skincare line based on all African traditional products that will be sold not only in Africa but also Internationally.
