{ADEPR Church has decided to dismiss Rev. Pastor Mutaganzwa Viateur who was the Secretary General of ADEPR after the later found him guilty of various offenses, including not cooperating with other staff in the church.}
Mutaganzwa was suspended from position he held since 17th March 2013.
During the general Assembly of the Pentecostal Church of Rwanda that was held on 10 Oct. 2014, it was concluded that Pastor Mutanganzwa be totally sacked from his position and he is no longer the Secretary General of the church.
Mutaganzwa is said to have in several times involved in different misconducts including revealing the church’s internal secrets.
Pastor Jean Sibomana, the spokesperson and the Legal representative of ADEPR said that Pastor Mutangazwa was warned for several times over his misconducts but he ignored his colleagues’ advices.
He also said that Mutaganzwa in many cases provided media with untruthful information with the aim of destroying the church’s image.
Given the opportunity to express himself on the accusations, Mutaganzwa replied that he does not have time to convey his side adding that the General Assembly is not a courtyard.
In his own words, Mutanganzwa said “I didn’t ask you to appoint me on this position ….Then if you find that I don’t deserve this position, whether it is based on facts or it is baseless… so why staying on a such position.”
According to the inside sources in ADEPR, the General assembly will decide on who will take over the post in few coming days.
