{{Turkish Airlines has announced plans to extend special discount offers to Rwandans travelling along the Brussels-Kigali route. }}
Mr. Mustafa Yildirim the Turkish Airlines General Manager in Brussels told IGIHE that the new discount fair will be effective this month (June).
The deal was reached during a meeting between Mr. Yildirim and Rwanda’s envoy to Belgium Robert Masozera.
Previous ticket prices for travel between Brussels and Kigali were at about Euros 800, but this will be reduced to encourage passengers along this route.
Passengers have the ability to carry baggage of 46Kg and 8Kg as carry-on baggage.
Although Mr. Yildirim didn’t give the exact discount figures, he said that Rwanda has shown great interest in doing business.
Turkish Airlines makes five trips to Rwanda per week. It also operates in over 227 countries and 36 of these are in Africa.
