The CDF had discussions with his Host, Lt Gen C Kayonga and delivered a lecture to RDF senior officers on course at RDF Senior Command and Staff College, Nyakinama.
The CDF, accompanied by RDF Chief of Defence Staff, urged the senior officers at Senior Command and Staff College to adopt transformational leadership and positive ethical values in order to succeed in their mission.
Gen Julius Waweru Karangi also talked about regional security focusing on military operations against Al Shabab in Somalia. He cited Al Shabab and allies as a threat to regional and global security and called for collective effort to fight against them.
The RDF Command and Staff College was thankful for the great experience and knowledge they acquired from the KDF Chief of Defence Forces.
