{{In line with the commemoration of the 19th Anniversary of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsis, employees of a local social enterprise called Kigali Farms have paid tribute to Genocide victims laid to Rest at Kigali Memorial Centre.}}
After being introduced to Rwanda’s History of Genocide as well as how it was implemented, Uwayezu Jean Paul, Finance Manager at Kigali Farms, said that the tragic event that happened in Rwanda is extremely shocking adding that Rwandans and the rest of the World should fight against any kind of Genocide and its ideology.
Speaking to media shortly after visiting the Genocide Memorial Centre, Laurent Demuynck, the Founder and CEO of Kigali Farms, said that what happened in Rwanda is unimaginable.
He called upon International community to intervene where simillar tragedy happened and not remain passive as it was happened in Rwanda.
Despite unimaginable pain that Rwandans passed through, Laurent said Rwanda is the example for the International community in terms of how people live together and the courage of Rwandans to self determination.
Kigali Farms is a local social enterprise active in the food business.
