The official opening ceremonies of FESPAD 2013 are scheduled today, 24th February, 2013 at Kigali Petit Stade.
The event which was due to start Saturday 23rd February, 2013 was postponed following Heavy rains which caused damages to the dancing theatre where ceremonies were to be officiated.
The launching change was announced by Makuza Lauren, the Director in charge of culture at the Ministry of Sports and Culture (MINISPOC) noting that the event will held today, 24th February at 15h o’clock.
Speaking to IGIHE, the coordinator of the 9-day festival, Frank Murangwa has assured that change will not affect other events planned for Sunday, 24th February, 2013.
