{{Rwanda Federation of Taekwondo fighters said all necessary preparations have been made to host EAC Taekwondo tournament by 23rd March, 2013 at Amahoro National Stadium.}}
According to Martin Koonce, who has started Taekwondo in the country for the very first time, the tournament will be conducted in two phases namely the 1st phase made of single player and the second one which is made of National teams of Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Uganda,and Kenya.
Koonce is optimistic that Rwanda will perform well adding that the only tough team is Kenya.
Taekwondo is one of the most popular sports in the world which originated from Korea.
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and the national sport of South Korea.
