The Rwanda Stock Exchange share index (RSI) on Wednesday went up 6.54 points to close at 192.66 and mainly pushed by the rising BK and Bralirwa share price which closed at Rwf 186 and Rwf 710 respectively.
The total turnover for the day was Rwf 17,416,100 from 17,400 BK shares and 20,300 Bralirwa shares traded in nine deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf 26,089,200 from 17,000 BK shares and 33,600 Bralirwa shares traded in eight deals.
BK shares traded between Rwf 178 and Rwf 186 and closed at Rwf 186, registering an increase of Rwf 11 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf 690 and Rwf 710 and closed at Rwf 710, registering an increase of Rwf 18 compared to yesterday’s closing price.
KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 169 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200.
At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 193,900 BK shares between Rwf 169 and Rwf 180 and no outstanding offers.
On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 45,300 shares between Rwf 690 and Rwf 694 and no outstanding offers.
