Muhanga District has asked banking institutions operating in the District to refine their communication strategies to attract more customers and gain more profits.
This was revealed during a meeting of bankers and microfinance operators and cooperatives in which they called to support development programs undertaken by the district.
To date 29 banks and microfinance institutions operate in Muhanga.
Rwanda Government intends to increase from 21% to 80% of Rwandans who use banking services by 2017.
