The Green party Political Pressure Group in Rwanda has reportedly announced that one of its officials has gone missing.
Omar Leo in charge of communication in the Green party group has allegedly not been seen for a while.
IGIHE tried to contact the family of Omar Leo However, the Green Party Group leader Frank Habineza said that the family of Omar prefered that the whereabouts of their son be followed-up by the party.
Omar Leo was resident at Nyamirambo Sector close to Rafiki Club.
Habineza told IGIHE that he informed security Institutions that Omar went missing on 15th January.
He said, the party informed Director of COunter Terrorism in Rwanda National Police.
According to Green Party, Omar was able to post a message on his Facebook page on January 25.
“We fixed an appointement to meet him at UTC, Bourbon Cafe but he never turned up and his phone was switched off again. we haven’t heard from him till this day.”
