Rwanda Governance Board RGB hereby calls for registered local Non-Governmental Organizations, Religious Based Organizations and Media Associations/Practitioners to apply for a Grant Competition aimed at empowering and strengthening civil Society Organizations to effectively participate and engage other stakeholders in deepening good Governance, Accountability and Quality Service delivery in Rwanda.
The successful proposals must be innovative and have potential for high impact in the promotion of good governance, quality service, community development and democratic values through any of the following; Action-oriented Intervention, training and awareness campaign , service delivery , policy advocacy, local leadership, documentation/dissemination of best practices, rural community development and youth empowerment.
Successful applicants will be eligible for grants valued between Frw 3,000,000 and Frw Frw 5,000,000 each. No organization is eligible for more than one grant.
The duration of the project implementation will be two (2) months.
The proposals must be submitted not later than January 30th 2013 and RGB will not accept proposals submitted after the deadline.

Proposals that are incomplete may not be considered for funding .
