As announced by the RNP on Wednesday, August 30th, ACP Rutikanga will assume the role of Police Spokesperson, succeeding Commissioner of Police John Bosco Kabera, who held this position since October 2018.
CP Kabera has been reassigned to the role of Commissioner for Infrastructure Security and Private Security Providers (ISPSP).
Before this latest appointment, Rutikanga had been serving as the Commissioner for Peace Support Operations. Prior to that, he had fulfilled the role of deputy spokesperson for the Rwanda National Police.
