{{Police and other security organs in Huye District, yesterday arrested five idlers and thugs who according to police used hide in Mukura forest during the day and come to steal in surrounding communities during the night.}}
The thugs suspected of many criminal acts are namely Banyundo François, 32, Claude Nshimiyimana, 30, Jean Paul Rutambuka, 29, François Mutwarangabo, 34, and Justin Simbizi, 39 years respectively.
They are held in custody at Rango Police Post.
Supt.Hubert Gashagaza, the Southern Region Police Spokesperson said that the operation took place following a tip- off from local residents, stating that in Mukura forest, the suspects used to come regularly and steal their cattle, and disrupt their safety.
The success of this operation was possible due to cooperation from the public that provided timely and relevant information on the above said criminals said Supt Gashagaza.
