Young man’s body found in river

The body was seen in the morning of Sunday 10th October 2021. The deceased was a cowherd in Ruhondo village, Munanira cell of Nyamyumba sector.

The Acting Executive Secretary of Nyamyumba sector, Innocent Niyomugabo has confirmed the incident.

“Local leaders rushed to the scene soon as we learnt about the man’s death and interacted with residents awaiting security officials to arrive,” he said.

IGIHE has learnt that his colleague was immediately arrested following the incident.

Investigation is underway to establish cause of the young man’s death.
