Her body was first seen in the morning of Saturday in Kagasa I village, Ramiro cell of Gashora sector.
The executive secretary of Gashora sector, Fred Rurangira has told IGIHE that the girl’s body was seen after searching her for a week.
“She was found dead in a cassava garden. Relevant authorities immediately launched investigations to establish cause of her death,” she said.
Rurangira appealed on residents to collaborate with security officers and local leaders and report crimes on time.
It is suspected that the girl might have been killed. She was studying in Primary 4.
Her body was taken to Nyamata Hospital for postmortem.
