{{Addressing the public in the cerebration of the International day of persons with disability in Rwanda, Prime Minister Dr. Pierre Damien Habumuremyi urged that rules should be respected in the construction of buildings to allow easy access to people with disabilities in Rwanda.}}
He added that Rwandans have to change their mindset towards people with disabilities.
The Premier commended that PWD have shown they are able to do many activities to sustain their lives adding that Government will continue to support them.
Habumuremyi urged Minisante and Mineduc to work hard and settle problems faced by people with disabilities in Rwanda.
“People with disability come among the Government Priorities in Rwanda” Premier noted.
Rwanda was awarded with the Ambassadorial Country status award in Africa for various programs organised in for people with disabilities.
