The statement released last night shows that 377 people have caught the virus out of 12 180 sample tests while 3 recovered.
A total of 907,147 people have been fully vaccinated while 1,662,759 received the first dose of COVID-19 since Rwanda began countrywide inoculation program on 4th March 2021.
Coronavirus symptoms include coughing, flu, and difficulty in breathing. The virus is said to be transmitted through the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.
Rwandans are urged to adhere to COVID-19 health guidelines, washing hands frequently using soaps and safe water, wearing face masks and respecting social distancing.
