Residents of Gitega Sector of Nyarugenge District in Kigali City are facing challenges of cases of more children disappearing.
Children who disappear are reportedly said to be between two years and three years old.
One of the residents told IGIHE that during the night of 6th November, a young girl disappeared.
However, the following day the missing girl was found at Nyabugogo Parking station alive.
Last week another young boy of 3years went missing and later found in Mount Kigali forest.
The same month another child went missing and has not been found.
However, Munyakazi Issaa, the Executive Secretary of Gitega Sector said the problem was not known.
He however suspected that childless women could be behind the kidnaps. He said the area is due to the fact that the area is habituated by more women without husbands.
Area authorities promised to address the matter.
