Residents learned about her death yesterday around 7:30pm from information provided by one of the men who lived in the house as his housemate suspected of being behind the death went missing.
Both men work for a Chinese road construction company, China Henan International Corporation (CHICO).
The executive secretary of Cyungo sector, Froduard Ndagijimana has told IGIHE that one of the two young men accommodated in the house saw the body and alerted officials.
“We went there and found the girl dead but she might have been raped before because we saw a condom under the bed,” he said.
Ndagijimana said the body of the deceased had foam in the mouth and blood in the nose.
He said the suspect is on the run to be brought to book.
His colleague who provided information is detained at Kinihira police station while the body has been taken to Kinihira Hospital for post mortem.
