This accident took place near Kisantu town, between Kinshasa and Matadi port.
According to Radio Okapi, Governor of the Central Congo Province, Atou Matabuana announced that “fire flames rose caught nearby houses”.
The biggest deadly accident in DRC last happened in 2010 when 220 people died. This time, a truck that ferried petroleum overturned and burst destroying nearby houses.
Kisantu town is located at 12 kilometers from Kinshasa.
