In a statement from the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Nyamvumba was promoted and appointed the department head.
“Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Nyamvumba has been promoted to the rank of Colonel and appointed the Chief of Defence Intelligence,” a statement reads.
Nyamvumba had been the Head of Strategy and Policy in the Office of the President.
