Rwanda and Croatia seek stronger bilateral cooperation and relations

On the occasion, the two Heads of Mission welcomed the establishment of diplomatic relations as an expression of the desire of their respective governments to strengthen and widen their bilateral and multilateral cooperation in several areas of mutual interest including in the implementation of the global agenda 2030 for the Sustainable Development Goals and in tourism, which accounts for a large share of the economies of Croatia and Rwanda.

It is worth noting that Croatia is one of the successors of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, a country that was among those that helped lay the foundation of the United Nations.

Both delegations, have jointly informed His Excellency António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, about the establishment of Rwanda-Croatia diplomatic relations today.
