Among suspects are Boniface Twagirimana who says he is the Vice-president of FDU Inkingi, a political party that is not allowed to operate in the country and eight more accomplices.
Other suspects are Boniface Twagirimana, Papias Ndayisenga, Janvier Twagirayezu, Gratine Nsabiyaremye, Evode Mbarushimana, Leonille Gasengayire, Norbert Ufitamahoro, Fabien Twagirayezu and Erneste Nkiko.
All nine suspects were present in the court but four of them had no defense lawyers.
Eight of them denied the accusations, only Papias Ndayishimije pleaded guilty, saying he was apprehended when he was on his way to joining an armed group in the DRC. On 6th September, Police said that they apprehended seven people suspected of collaborating with armed groups working from a neighboring country.
