{President Paul Kagame has opened the 14th National Dialogue and revealed the current political and economic status of the country at all levels where poverty has reduced compared to previous years. He also lauded Rwandans for scaling up efforts to realize the country’s development. }
President Kagame said that Rwanda has a good performance as demonstrated by various indicators and what the country passed through in the past years.
President Kagame has said that the past 22 years have been for restoring security and unity of the country, ‘feeling that we are all nationals’
He explained that the period was followed by more ten years of building capacities in different sectors of and in security, justice, and trust. President Kagame based on this to say that Rwanda’s future is seen by everyone.
“It is for the first time in Rwanda’s existence when a citizen feels at peace for being recognised with dignity other than feeling hunted… […] International score cards indicate that more than 90% of Rwandans trust Rwanda’s police and military at 95%,”he said.
