{Dr Agnes Binagwaho has been dropped from the cabinet as the Minister of Health by President of the Republic a statement signed by the Prime Minister, Anastase Murekezi says.}
Dr. Agnes Binagwaho a specialized pediatrician who served in various positions of the health sector. Dr Binagwaho was the executive secretary of the National Commission for the Fight Against AIDS from 2002 to 2008.
She was appointed the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Health from 2008 to 2011 and later became the Minister of Health.
The statement has however not named any replacement for the substantive minister
