{The Director General of Rwanda Agriculture Board (RAB), Dr. Louis Butare and the Head of Research Department at RAB, Dr. Patrick Karangwa are being held under police custody as investigations get underway in relation to poor preparation of the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) held in Kigali last week.}
The meeting kicked off on June 13th and closed on June 16th 2016 amidst some hitches of some delegates missing meals.
At the end of the forum on 16th June, the Minister of Agriculture and Animal Ressources, Dr.Geraldine Mukeshimana, apologized for the mishaps and promised better preparations of the future meetings.
