{About 10 Rwanda Youth Groups and 800 Nyandungu students participated ‘The Rwanda international youth peace walk event’ hosted by IPYG in Nyandungu Great Lakes School Complex(NGLSC) of AIPER, Kigali, Rwanda at May 20th. }
The Rwanda youth participants of the peace walk desiring world peace with pickets in their hands shouted and conveyed peace messages in the street and their shouting made other passer-by join the walk. Thesight of it was enthusiastic as if they had promise done another previously.
To commemorate the 3rd declaration of world peace’ which was proclaimed first in 2013, South Korea and to inspire the Rwanda youth’s peace consciousness, the program was unfolded with introducing the HWPL international peace activities, a speech improving the awareness of peace for youth, signature campaign to urge and support the Implementation of the International Law and having a peace walk with around 800 youths.
One of the IPYG member said that “The harmonious image with youths and public of Kigali city longing for peace was beautiful although Rwanda has suffered from lots of pain concerning war and conflict. I’m really looking forward to the HWPL international peace youth walk which will be held in all nations from the Day, May 25th.
This year, HWPL greets the 3rd peace walk and it is one of worldwide big scale events on May 25th, HWPL Day. Also, HWPL has made the world’s eye focus on its journey of achieving peace by signature campaign advocating the Implementation of the International Law and Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War.
