Rwanda Development Board is offering extra gifts to all women seeking services in it as Rwanda joins the World to celebrate the International Day of Women.
The International day of Women is celebrated on 8th March across the World .In Rwanda it has been celebrated at sector level across the country with the theme ‘Uphold the principle of gender equality, boosting efforts in promoting a woman’.
RDB has given a flower as a gift to every woman who sought services there as a sign of appreciating women involvement in the development of Rwanda.
International Women’s Day of Women was first celebrated in Rwanda in 1975. Under the auspices of UN, the day is to mark the role of women in development and addressing challenges hampering a woman’s progress and propose sustainable policies.
