Alfred Gakuba Kalisa, the Rwanda ambassador to Angola has presented his credentials to president of Angola José Eduardo dos Santos.
The ceremony of presenting credentials took place yesterday in the Luanda presidential palace.
Amb. Kalisa Gakuba Alfred was once Managing Director of BCDI bank which became ECOBANK. He was jailed from 2007 to 2010 when he was released under the presidential prerogative of mercy.
Kalisa was appointed ambassador by the cabinet meeting that convened on 9th September, 2015.
The Angola Press Agency indicated that other ambassadors who presented credentials in the same ceremony are Gustave Beya Siku from DRC, Fannie Mfana Phakola of South Africa , Joao Jose Gomes Caetano of Portugal, Nguyen Manh Cuong of Vietnam and Seija Toro of Finland.
