Turkish investors on four-day familiarization tour

{Members of the Turkish Exporters Assembly have started a four-day tour in Rwanda where they are expected to hold talks on investment opportunities with their Rwandan counterparts.

The 31-member investors’ delegation will talk to Rwandan investors through the Private Sector Federation (PSF) on how best they can improve cooperation particularly in investments.

Much emphasis shall be put on trade in; construction materials, Air transport, agricultural products, education, promoting the energy sector among others.

Despite the short time of cooperation between the two countries, Turkey’s investments in Rwanda have reached USD35 million of which the majority are in air transport.

Rwanda has an embassy in Ankara, in Turkey, which is in charge of taking care of Rwandan students in the country as well as facilitating investments brought in Rwanda.
