Some of the farmers supported by Duterimbere also participated in an exhibition organized by Nyagatare district in collaboration with Private Sector Federation with an aim of showcasing a variety of products and unveiling new projects under implementation. The exhibition took place in Rukomo.
Rutegeranya Damien, the accountant of DUTERIMBERE-IMF Ltd in Nyagatare district has said that the microfinance institution is proud of the good services that have greatly impacted a people’s lives through supporting agriculture and livestock farming.
“During the three-day expo, we have explained available services to our current and potential clients.
We were utterly pleased with the performance of our loan beneficiaries—cooperatives and individuals—that have demonstrated that with proper planning, rural transformation is possible.”
Farmers have exhibited different produce, agricultural machinery and other farming technologies.
Visitors to the DUTERIMBERE Ltd stall have been informed of the ease with which they can access loans as long as they have an account with the institution; with such products as Humura Muhinzi benefiting farmers directly through inventory credit facility and invoice discounting.
