{Duterimbere IMF has got new clients after a countrywide campaign that targeted Maize farmers of 52 cooperatives.}
Duterimbere facilitates farmers to acquire loans as well as technical advices in order to get good harvests.
About 10 809 farmers were reached during the sensitization campaign.
The Marketing Manager of Duterimbere IMF said some farmers had not sufficient information about the Bank’s credit facilities in agriculture sector.
The Manager added “That’s why we conducted a countrywide mobilization campaign which ended up with getting new clients.”
The campaign was conducted by Duterimbere IMF in collaboration with Rwanda Grain and Cereals Corporation (RGCC), AGRIFOP, PAM and other MFIs.
