Horyou Foundation to host a Gala Dinner featuring Chef Marc Veyrat

{{Cannes, May 18 –}}{The Horyou Foundation will host a gala dinner at the Villa Saint Georges on May 20 amid the 2015 Cannes Festival. The Gala, dedicated to raising funds to support a wide range of endeavors of social good, will gather an important group of esteemed guests of honor at the event, which will also feature artistic performances and a live auction. }

During cocktail hour to start at 7:30 pm, painters Lassad Metaoui and Rémi Bertoche will each be creating a painting to be auctioned later in the evening. Renowned three-star Michelin chef Marc Veyrat will treat the gala attendees to a delicate menu of his creation while such guests of honor as UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Marisa Berenson and Dr. Georges Bwelle, an altruist and CNN Hero, will share their experiences.

Many other proponents of social good will be joining us in this most exciting evening. Live entertainment will include famous Chinese pianist Chow Ching Ling – guest of honor – and flutist Wang Wei, as well as surprise guest performances. Following dinner, a live auction will be conducted under the hammer of Pierre Cornette de Saint Cyr. Among the featured international artists presented in the auction will be paintings by Ghass, Andrei Sharov, Nikolai Dubovik, Christina Oiticica, Jiang Shanqing, as well as an sculpture by Ma Tse Lin. The Gala will be followed by a private party featuring DJ Benjamin Diamond, best known for his collaboration in Stardust with Thomas Bangalter (of Daft Punk).

Founded in Geneva in January 2014, the Horyou Foundation promotes and advances causes for social good. It plans to fund hundreds of international organizations on the platform of Horyou, the Social Network for Social Good. It provides support ​​primarily to organizations involved in humanitarian efforts, aid to science, protection of the environment, promotion of education and support of the arts. The Foundation’s goal is to embrace concrete actions and causes in harmony with the fields listed above anywhere in the world. Its collected funds are redistributed directly or indirectly in the form of participation in, or contribution to, individual and group projects. Additionally, it is planning scholarships and funding to scientists and inventors, as well as any endeavor dedicated to improving lives and living conditions.

The Horyou Foundation relies on the generosity of organizations and individuals to fund projects of positive change worldwide. The proceeds to this gala event will be used to that end.
