{The minister of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda, Louise Mushikiwabo, arrived on Friday in Luanda to attend the Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the International Conference for the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR).}
The meeting aims to analyze the current prevailing security situation in the Great Lakes region and prepare the Extraordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the ICGLR, to be held next Monday (18th), in Luanda.
The Republic of Angola takes two years of the presidency of the ICGLR. The mandate began in January 2014.
The ICGLR was created after the political conflicts that marked the Great Lakes region in 1994.
ICGLR is made of Angola, Burundi, the Central African Republics, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia.
