{Paul Kagame, The President of The Republic of Rwanda and Commander- In- Chief of Rwanda Defence Forces on 22 March 2015 held a meeting with RDF Generals, Senior and Junior Officers at Defence Headquarters in Kimihurura.

He urged them to have and maintain collective discipline and self respect – to achieve the national high ambitions utilising scarce resources.
“RDF has to have a certain thinking that creates value that takes us to the point where we want to be. Discipline should drive us all together. From scarcity we should say, I gain where you gain. There must be discipline and cohesion of thoughts that create value from nothing”. He further noted that “thinking must be dynamic, constant, looking every where we can do something extraordinary as long as it delivers results we want”, he said before underlining that “we want to be comfortable that interests of Rwanda are well protected”.
The Generals and Senior Officers also discussed the RDF achievements with the Commander in Chief and expressed their views on how to achieve more.
