Rwanda to incinerate Dead People

A draft ministerial decree concerning practical implementing procedures of this law is to decide on the procedure to be followed including the fact that the District Council shall designate one or more places where crematoriums are placed.

Some of the Rwandans find that this technique is blasphemous to the memory of the dearly departed.

The law passed in the Rwandan parliament authorizing cremation of bodies was motivated by the limited space of the cemeteries.

Some says it will cause harm in the consciousness of those who still believe that “the dead are not dead,”
