Supt. Modeste Mbabazi, Police spokesperson for the Central region recognised the role played by the public in unearthing and arresting drug dealers.
“You can say that most of those who have been arrested was largely due to credible information provided by members of the public through community policing and we believe this partnership will continue to yield more results to create a drug-free environment,” he added.
He advised those still involved in drug dealings and other illegal activities to desist from these acts adding that Police will continue similar operations to ensure that all those connected to these crimes are arrested to face the law.
