{Rwandese Socialist Party (PSR) has asked Rwandans to tighten boots and be ready for a war against the FDLR after the later botched the disarmament deadline.}
Apart from readying Rwandans, the PSR has also tabled several requests to the Government of Rwanda, UN, DRC as well as refugees that are being utilized by the rebels as their shields
During the Press conference in Kigali PSR said that the FDLR has been given enough time to voluntary disarm however refused to put the weapons down because of alliance with DRC forces and its political links with several groups including RNC, Alliance pour la renaissance de la Nation, Nation Imbaga y’inyabutatu –Nyarwanda as well as PS Imberakuri.
Jean Baptiste Rucibigango the Head of the PSR told Journalists that the time that FDLR has been given was more than enough.
He said “It is obvious that the criminal group of FDLR has been given more than enough time to surrender. The rebel’s head Gen. Maj. Byiringiro Victor has said that the FDLR are not afraid of military actions that might be taken after the 2nd January. Now it seems that the stream has gone beyond the boundaries”
For that reason Rucibigano calls up on Rwandans everywhere they are to be ready for the war against the FDLR.
He says “PSR is asking Rwandans everywhere they are, inside the country and in Diaspora, to be ready, if it becomes unavoidable, to engage the war against the FDLR and their accomplices, as well as fully uproot the Genocide Ideology by upholding the “Ndi Umunyarwanda” strength.”
He later requested Rwandans to maintain and sustain their unity, security and development, however, added Rucibigango “all Rwandans should fight for better life.”
Among the 10 requests tabled by the PSR includes demand to DRC Government which the PSR want that it fully implement the “SUKOLA II” initiative where use of military force is inevitable to disarm the FDLR.
