{Uganda has fallen a place in the FIFA rankings dropping from number 76th last month to 77th according to a release by FIFA on Thursday January 8, 2015.}
There was also a fall for neighbours Kenya who are now ranked 117th from 116th last month.
Tanzania and Ethiopia rose one slot each to 104th and 109th respectively while Rwanda remains the best ranked nation in the CECAFA region in number 68th.
Algeria tops the rankings in Africa and are number 18th in the world followed by Tunisia (22), Cote d’Voire (28), Senegal (35) and Ghana (37).
There was no change in the first top 45 slots in the world something attributed to lack of international football in December.
Next release will be on February 12, 2015.
