Western Province’s District Mayors of Karongi and Nyamasheke have resigned two days after Police arrested Mayor of Rusizi on Tuesday.

The resignation of Bernard Kayumba of Karongi and Jean Baptiste Habyarimana, of Nyamasheke come on the heels of recent mayoral resignations in the districts of Gasabo, Gastibo, Rwamagana and Kirehe.
